Relationship paths were configured to retrieve shipment and account records connected to each Load. This helps ensure that every package includes the required related documents, following the same structure instead of relying on users to collect and organize individual files manually.
Custom Apex Data Source for Complex Data
A custom Apex class was developed using the IDmeApexDataSource interface to retrieve and prepare data that standard relationships could not fully provide. Registered as an Apex data source, it supports filtering, combining, and calculating information before it appears in the generated documents.

The Load record ID was passed to the Apex class through Assign Behavior, allowing the data logic to focus on the record being processed. This helps ensure that each generated package contains the appropriate information for its specific Load rather than unrelated records.

The package was configured to generate each document in the required order and combine the results into one file. A naming convention was also set up for the final output, making completed document packages easier for the team to identify and manage.
